How long is a license valid for?

The license key is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Starting with v5.0.0, when a license expires, the plugin will continue to function normally as it did before the license expired; however, you will lose access to certain things:

1. You will no longer get new versions of the plugin.
2. You won’t get priority support over email.
3. You won’t be able to change any Pro settings anymore.

What should I do if an old version of the plugin stops working?

This doesn’t happen very often, but if an older version of the plugin stops working due to WordPress updates and other active plugins updates, you would need to update the plugin to get the code changes needed to work with the new versions of WordPress and plugins.

Keeping a complex and feature-filled plugin like Widget Options up to date with new features and compliant with WordPress updates takes time and money!
